About Us
Various Artists Limited is a BAFTA, Emmy and RTS winning production company based in London. Known for creating distinctive scripted drama and comedy, the company was founded by producers and ex-Channel 4 executives Roberto Troni and Phil Clarke, along with writers / showrunners Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain.
On our launch we produced the BAFTA-winning Julia Davis comedy SALLY4EVER for Sky/HBO and DEAD PIXELS for Channel 4. We followed that with I MAY DESTROY YOU, written by and starring Michaela Coel. This critically acclaimed show was one of the most talked about and admired shows of 2020, winning multiple BAFTAs, Emmys, RTS awards and many other accolades.
More recently in 2023 we produced series for UK broadcasters and global streamers including Henpocalypse for BBC 2 and Still Up for Apple TV , and the multi award winning comedies Juice and Such Brave Girls for BBC 3 and Hulu.
