Maisah Thompson
Maisah is an award-winning scripted comedy producer. She’s worked extensively across scripted production and development with Baby Cow, BBC Studios, Channel 4 Comedy, Retort and FremantleMedia UK. Maisah recently produced and developed the second series of critically-acclaimed JUICE by Mawaan Rizwan, she also produced the Broadcast Digital Award-winning Channel 4 short, RED FLAG by Kiell Smith-Bynoe. Her AP credits incl. BAFTA TV Award-winning SUCH BRAVE GIRLS by Kat Sadler, PLS LIKE S3 by Liam Williams and ROAD TO BREXIT by Arthur Mathews.
In 2023, Maisah created Various Artists Limited’s first comedy writing development programme: VAL x LAB. The programme has focused on developing and mentoring the next generation of underrepresented scripted comedy writers.
