Ian McBain
Ian joined VAL in May in the newly created role of Finance Director, where he oversees all of the company's finance and accounting activities.
Before joining VAL, Ian spent three years at BBC Studios as Director of Finance & Operations, Scripted, supporting a portfolio of in-house and independent production labels. During this time, he worked across a range of high-profile productions, including EastEnders, Casualty, Doctor Who, Good Omens, Baby Reindeer and Sherwood.
Prior to BBC Studios, Ian held senior finance roles at Endor Productions, Left Bank Pictures and Twenty Twenty Television. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
