COMEDY DEVELOPMENT PRODUCER

 

Maisah joined VAL in 2022 as Comedy Development Producer. She has worked extensively across scripted comedy production and development for Baby Cow, BBC Studios, Channel 4 Comedy, Objective Media Group, Retort and Talkback.

 

Maisah’s credits include producing Broadcast Award-winning RED FLAG for Channel 4 Comedy Blaps and Baby Cow Productions, her AP credits include SUCH BRAVE GIRLS, PLS LIKE and THE ROAD TO BREXIT.

 

In 2023, Maisah created VAL’s first writers development programme: VAL x LAB. This 12-month programme has focused on developing the next generation of underrepresented comedy writers from the worlds of stand-up, theatre and social media.
